You may need to stay at one of our hospitals for an operation or treatment. If your stay is planned, you will receive an admission letter that contains details of your stay, such as the date you need to come to the hospital and where you need to go once you get here.
Please let us know prior to your stay about any special requirements, such as washing or praying facilities, or if you have a disability.
Please check you know which of our five hospitals you are coming to. To find out how to get to the hospital, visit Getting here. Please note that a small selection of our services are provided at St Charles' Hospital (PDF, requires Adobe Acrobat Reader, free download), Exmoor Street, London W10 6DZ.
Before you leave home to come to the hospital, please call the telephone number on your admission letter to confirm that a bed is available for you. We ask you to do this because very occasionally an emergency patient may have to take priority.
New inpatient guide
We have developed a new guide for inpatients to help improve your experience at our hospitals. The guide provides a range of information related to your inpatient stay, as well as information about the Trust, hospital facilities and useful contact numbers.
The guide will be given to all new inpatients as part of a four-week trial. If you have read the guide, please tell us what you think. This will help us improve the guide for other patients.
