If you need to cancel or rearrange your stay please let us know as soon as possible by calling the telephone number on your admission letter. If you do not contact us this may affect your position on our waiting list. We may also refer you back to your GP for review.
We make every effort to ensure operations are carried out on time, but sometimes cancellations or delays are unavoidable. If we need to cancel or rearrange your operation we will give you as much notice as possible.
Very rarely we may need to cancel your operation at very short notice, including when you are already in hospital. In all cases we make every effort to avoid this happening. If we do need to cancel at such short notice we will make sure you are treated within 28 days.
