Our patient advice and liaison service (PALS) offers help, support, information and advice to patients and their relatives, friends and carers.
Information and advice
The PALS team can help answer any questions you have about our hospital services. We can also provide information about other local NHS, community and support services.
Issues and concerns
We recognise that sometimes things don't go according to plan. The PALS team can help you to sort out any problems you have with our hospital services. If you have concerns, please speak to a member of staff involved in your or the patient's care. If this does not resolve the problem, you can talk to the PALS team, in confidence. We will liaise with hospital staff and try to resolve your concerns as quickly as possible.

Patient feedback
Your views on how we can improve our hospitals are important to us. The PALS team will listen to your suggestions, and help put them into action. We value your feedback. You can give us suggestions, compliments, raise issues or concerns or use this link to contact our PALS team for information or help.
Making a complaint
If we cannot help resolve a problem and you wish to make a formal complaint, we can guide you through the NHS complaints process and put you in contact with your local independent complaints and advocacy service if required.
