Our research

The long-term goal of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust’s paediatric services is to promote the health and wellbeing of children through a coordinated programme of research.

The paediatric research unit (PRU) is situated on the seventh floor of the QEQM building at St Mary’s Hospital, next to one of the paediatric wards. It is the UK’s first unit devoted solely to paediatric clinical research.

We aim to recruit as many patients as possible into our studies, generating evidence that will have the potential to raise the quality of care for all our patients.
