Visiting women in our care

We recognise that family and friends may wish to visit women in our care. If you would like to visit, please call the relevant hospital first to check on the visiting hours and policy, and check our general visiting information.

Please note that the only children who can come into our maternity wards are the siblings of the baby.

We aim to provide a calm and restful environment for women, and we would appreciate your support in helping us to allow the women in our care to rest. Therefore you may prefer to visit at home rather than come to the hospital.

We do not have a dedicated waiting area for maternity visitors, so if you are visiting someone please wait until visiting hours start before you come to the maternity ward.
