It is important for your and your baby’s health that you start your antenatal care early in pregnancy. We support the government’s target for all women to have started their antenatal care by ten to 12 weeks of pregnancy.
When you know you are pregnant, don’t delay; you can book your maternity care with us in several ways. You can either:

Self-referral
You can now book your antenatal care and delivery with us by either telephone or email
Telephone self-referral
To book your care you can call our self-referral line on 020 3312 6135 between 10.00 and 18.00 from Monday to Friday. Outside of these times you can leave a message. If you leave your contact details we will call you back the next working day.
If you call our self-referral line we will ask you questions about you, your family and your medical background. Please be prepared to answer these questions fully so we can make sure you get the best possible care. The team will aim to offer you an appointment with a midwife over the phone.
