Conditions we treat

Female member of staff looking at ECG printoutThe conditions we treat at the inherited cardiac conditions (ICC) service include conditions related to the heart’s muscle tissue, such as cardiomyopathy and athlete’s heart, inherited heart rhythm disorders including long QT syndrome, and inherited vascular conditions such as Marfan syndrome.

In addition, we see individuals with inherited neuromuscular diseases that affect the heart, such as muscular dystrophy.
