Speech and language therapy

The Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) departments provide a comprehensive service to adults and children with communication and/or swallowing/feeding problems.
Inpatient services are offered as part of a consultant episode of care. 

Specialist clinicians assess and treat adult and paediatric  inpatients with communication and swallowing disorders related to a variety of medical pathologies such as stroke, respiratory disorders and progressive neurological disorders. Inpatients and outpatients are able to access a videofluoroscopy clinic.
