Crossrail works for the Hammersmith & City and Circle lines station at Paddington continues. London Street will be closed from 21 May until the end of June 2012 for the first phase of waterproofing works prior to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Launch of new Imaging Booking Call Centre

The Imaging Department have launched a new Bookings & Call Centre which commenced on Monday 16th April 2012. We aim to improve booking practices by actively calling patients to negotiate convenient appointment times for them.

Urgent service update: Choose and Book system now available

The Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust Patient Administration System is now fully operational again after a brief service interruption earlier today. Appointments can be booked via the Choose and Book System as normal.

Patient transport service

Imperial College Healthcare has made some changes to non-emergency patient transport (NEPT). We now ask that GPs provide patients requiring NEPTS with a phone number, so they can book directly. Patients or their representative should contact the Booking Centre on 020 3311 5353 between the hours of 08.00 – 18.00, Monday to Friday

DEXA (Bone Densitometry) relocation to St Mary’s Hospital

The Cardiology team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust are delighted to report that the BNP service is now available to GPs across our sites. Cardiology teams on all three acute sites can now accept referrals for all patients with heart failure suspected on the basis of their BNP result. You can also expect faster turnaround times.

New GP hotline for outpatient enquiries

Email advice service for colposcopy launched
