Referrals to Charing Cross Hospital

Referrals for primary surgery are accepted only from the gender identity clinic, which is part of the West London Mental Health Trust. The clinic is a tertiary centre and accepts referrals only from other psychiatrists.

The surgical unit does accept direct GP referrals of patients who have had operations either within the unit in the past, or elsewhere, and who have ongoing problems. Referrals should be sent to the unit.
