Referrals to Charing Cross Hospital

Referrals for the breast clinics are via Choose and Book (symptomatic and family history clinics).

The West London Cancer Network (WLCN) referral forms should be used for all referrals and should clearly state if the referral is ‘urgent’ and ‘suspected cancer’ or ‘urgent’ and ‘two-week wait’ or ‘routine referral’. All suspected cancer patients’ referrals must be received within 24 hours of the GP’s decision to refer and must meet the referral criteria. 

Referrals to St Mary’s Hospital

Referrals for the ‘one-stop breast clinic’ and ‘general breast clinic’ are via Choose and Book.

Patients seeking genetic risk assessment at St Mary’s Hospital should be referred to the nurse practitioner in the family history clinic.
