Response from our recent public consultation
Following our recent public consultation we would like to thank all members of the public and our stakeholders for their contributions.
The consultation, held between August and October 2010, was a great success. We received a total of 592 formal responses, exceeding our target by almost 20 percent.
The responses showed clear support for our plans. In particular we received overwhelming support for our vision and our plans for development of our services.
Our consultation response document is now available. The document provides an overview of our consultation process, the responses to the questions we asked and our responses to your comments.

Public consultation
Our public consultation ended on October 23 and was very successful. Over 500 members of the public and staff took part in the consultation and the results showed that there is significant support for our future plans. A summary of the consultation response is being produced and will be published online by January 15. A summary leaflet will also be sent to all our members and anyone else who has requested a copy.
