EMBT (JACIE) protocols

This Standard Operating Procedure is produced and published by the Adult Stem Cell Transplantation (SCT) unit  at  Hammersmith Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, for two main reasons:

  • To communicate the current live procedures being followed within the Adult Stem Cell Transplantation unit within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
  • For guidance and sharing of best practices with other external Stem Cell Transplantation units nationally and internationally.

Please note that external SCT units should at all times consider their own local practices and environment before interpreting these procedures.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust takes no responsibility for the adaptation of these documents by other local SCT units.

The procedures listed in the folders on the left hand navigation are sample standard operating procedures (SOPs) for stem cell transplants (SCTs) that have been produced and published by Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust for guidance and sharing best practices with other SCT units.  

If other SCT units wish to use these SOPs, they must consider their own local practices and environment before making any adaptations. Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust accepts no responsibility for the adaptation of these SOPs by other local SCT units.
