Shops
There is a shop located in the main entrance of the hospital that sells magazines, books, snacks and toiletries.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday, from 07.00 to 19.30, Saturday from 08.30 to 19.00, Sunday from 09.00 to 19.00

There is also a gift shop on the first floor of the hospital, run by volunteers from the charitable organisation Friends of Charing Cross Hospital.

Restaurants
There is a public restaurant for patients, visitors and staff on the second floor of the hospital.

 

There are also several smaller refreshment areas in other areas of the hospital, including the ground, first and second floor.

Pharmacy

The pharmacy is on the ground floor of the hospital, just past the main entrance and on the left.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday, from 08.45 to 18.30, Saturday from 09.00 to 13.00 and Sunday from 10.00 to 14.00

 

Banking
There is a cashpoint on the ground floor of the south wing, just past the main hospital lifts. You can also use one of our internet cafes to bank online.

Cashier's office
The cashier's office is on the ground floor of the south wing, just past the main hospital lifts.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 13.00 and 14.00 to 16.30 

 

Internet cafes
There are computers with internet access in the main hospital restaurant on the second floor and also on the first floor. These are free to all staff, patients and visitors.

Flowers
There is a flower shop in the main entrance of the hospital.

 

Visitors' accommodation

Postal service
Post is delivered and collected from all wards twice a day, Monday to Friday. Please give letters, including postage stamps, for posting to the ward clerk or nurse if you are unable to post them yourself. If you expect to receive any post while in hospital from your relatives or friends, please ask them to include the name of the ward you are staying in, as well as your first name, on all post sent to you.
