Upper gastrointestinal surgery

The team at Charing Cross Hospital provides a comprehensive upper GI service for a range of benign (non-cancer) oesophageal and gastric disorders, including laparoscopic treatment for:

• Reflux disease (GORD)
• Achalasia
• Diaphragmatic and paraoesophageal hernias
• GIST excision
• Splenectomy
• Gallbladder and bile duct stones

In addition we offer:

• Upper GI endoscopy
• Diagnostic laparoscopy
• Laparoscopic appendicectomy
• Laparoscopic repair of duodenal perforation
• Laparoscopic adhesiolysis
• Laparoscopic small bowel resection
