Charing Cross Hospital provides treatment for the following types of cancers:
Inpatient facilities are primarily based at Charing Cross, the hub of the Trust’s cancer services. The Trust is internationally recognised as the leader in the field contributing to international research on gestational trophoblastic disease (GTD), with Charing Cross being the first centre in the UK to provide diagnosis and management of GTD.
Patients with spinal cord compression benefit from immediate access to services via innovative fast-tracking processes. Rapid management services are also available for patients with febrile neutropenia and those requiring oncological management of symptoms.
The Macmillan team at Charing Cross and Hammersmith hospitals are available to provide support and advice to cancer patients and their families. The team offers emotional, practical and psychological support throughout the cancer journey.
