Location
The service is located in the outpatients department on the first floor, behind clinics six and seven.
Opening hours
Monday to Thursday: 08.30 to 17.30
Friday: 08.30 to 15.00
How to make an appointment
To use the service you need a blood test referral form from your GP or from Charing Cross Hospital. Most patients are seen on a walk-in basis. For a glucose tolerance test (GTT), you need to book an appointment before you attend the clinic by calling 020 8846 1101.
Additional information
All patients with diabetes and those who are having a fasting glucose and lipid (cholesterol) test need to fast from midnight on the morning of the test.
