Director of communications
Rebekah Fitzgerald

Rebekah Fitzgerald is responsible for the strategic direction of the Trust's communication, managing the team, and representing the communications directorate on the Trust board and in relevant groups coordinated by the Trust's associated primary care trusts and NHS London, our strategic health authority. Rebekah is also the Trust's spokesperson.
Jeremy Levy Director of education
Dr Jeremy Levy
Jeremy has been a consultant in renal medicine (kidney diseases) and general internal medicine at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust since 2000. Prior to that he trained in Cambridge, London and Oxford. Jeremy has a major clinical interest in immune mediated kidney disease, chronic kidney disease, haemodialysis and HIV. He has substantial teaching and training interests and loves being involved in all aspects of education, and prior to being appointed director of education was director of postgraduate medical education, and lead for clinical academic training. He teaches and examines at all levels for Imperial College, and across professional groups for the Trust. He is also the Head of the London School of Medicine for postgraduate medical training across London for all medical specialites, responsible for 2500 doctors in training in over 30 acute Trusts.

Director of infection control and prevention
Professor Alison Holmes
Professor Alison Holmes is director of infection prevention and control and consultant in infectious diseases at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. She holds specialist registration in infectious diseases and general internal medicine. She also completed an infectious diseases fellowship in Boston and a master's in public health at Harvard. Her areas of interest and research cover molecular epidemiology, antimicrobial prescribing, hospital-acquired infection, organisational change to improve patient safety and the delivery of infection prevention, models of training and multidisciplinary working, developing pragmatic surveillance systems, and international and refugee health.

Kevin Jarrold
Kevin Jarrold is an extremely experienced CIO with 25 years’ NHS experience in the acute and strategic health authority sectors. He brings to Imperial a wealth of experience in the implementation of Cerner, the new electronic patient records system, having supported six trusts implement the system.
Medical director, professional development
Dr David Mitchell
Dr Mitchell qualified in medicine from Cambridge University and the Middlesex Hospital and went on to train in general and respiratory medicine at the Middlesex, Hammersmith, University College, the London Chest and the Royal Brompton hospitals. He was then appointed as senior lecturer and honorary consultant in respiratory and general medicine to St Mary's Hospital Medical School and later, switched to the NHS. He served as clinical director for medicine before being appointed as medical director to the Trust.

Mike Griffin
Mike Griffin joined Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in April 2009 from King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, where he had been executive director of human resources for 14 years. Prior to this position he had extensive experience in industry and the commercial sector, including the pharmaceutical giant Glaxo.
Director of research
Professor Jonathan Weber
Jonathan Weber is the Jefferiss professor of communicable diseases and GU medicine, and head of the division of medicine within the faculty of medicine at Imperial College London. He is based at the St Mary’s Hospital campus, within the Wright-Fleming Institute. He is a clinician by training, and has undertaken extensive clinical and laboratory-based research on HIV/AIDS, HTLV-I and other STIs.
